Our story in Prague
Consider Science! in Prague takes place in the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, under the patronage of the Senate’s Chairman, Miloš Vystrčil. At the first edition in June 2025, 150 students from 58 schools in 12 regions heard ten talks by their peers, from antibiotic resistance to student satellites and exoplanets. Guests included the Minister of Transport and a future Czech astronaut.
The second edition in June 2026 attracted more than 250 students from nearly a hundred schools. It opened with a welcome from astronaut Andrew Feustel, who has flown three space missions, and included ten talks, five workshops, stands in the courtyard and visits to the laboratories of the Czech Academy of Sciences and several universities.
