Our story in Liberec
Liberec welcomed Consider Science! for the first time in October 2026, in the large auditorium of the Technical University of Liberec. It was the project’s tenth big event, and more than 300 students from over 40 schools filled the hall. The Governor of the Liberec Region and the university’s vice-rector opened the day, and the local coordinator was Adéla Podholová, herself a high-school student.
Talks ran in two halls, from numerical physics, relativity and rocket engineering to brain tumours, psychology and wheat research. Between them there were stands of universities, companies and student projects, and the day ended with excursions to the university’s laboratories, from nanofibres in medicine to robotics.
